03Authorize Google Drive and Enable Meet

Go to Dashboard → Integrations. Google Drive and Google Meet are authorized in a single OAuth flow. Google Drive is always required - accepting the Meet permissions additionally enables Google Meet as an event platform.

Authorization Steps

  1. 1Go to Dashboard → Integrations and click "Authorize" next to Google Drive
  2. 2You will be redirected to the Google OAuth consent screen. Review the permissions listed
  3. 3Accept the Meet permissions to allow SimuLive to create and manage Google Meet spaces on your behalf - this enables Google Meet as an event platform in SimuLive
  4. 4Click Allow and you will be redirected back to SimuLive. Your Google account will show as Active
If you skipped the Meet permissions during initial authorization, go back to Dashboard → Integrations and re-authorize to add Meet access at any time.
Security: SimuLive is a Google verified application using the secure drive.file scope. We only access files you upload through our platform and never access your existing Google Drive files or folders.

04Upload Your Content

10Troubleshooting

Google Meet not available when creating a runbook

Meet permissions were not accepted during Google authorization. Go to Dashboard, then Integrations and re-authorize your Google account. On the OAuth consent screen, accept the Meet permissions to enable Google Meet as an event platform.

Google Drive not connected

Go to Dashboard, then Integrations and click Authorize next to Google Drive. If you signed up with Google OAuth, try disconnecting and reconnecting.

Chat messages not appearing

Verify you have a Platinum or Diamond subscription. Check that your messages.json file uses the correct MM:SS format.

Live stream not starting

Verify you have Gold or above. Check stream key (min 10 chars) and RTMP URL. Start the Source Encoder first when the runbook is Running, then start destinations.

Insufficient credits

Go to Dashboard, then Subscription to purchase additional credits or reduce the event duration.

Need help? Visit simulive.us/support or email support@simulive.us. Platinum and Diamond subscribers receive priority support.
