Important Notes
- One Click Authorization Available: SimuLive is approved on the Zoom Marketplace. Simply click Connect Zoom in Dashboard, then Integrations to connect your Zoom account instantly.
- For multiple Zoom accounts, you can create private Zoom apps. Follow the steps below for private integration setup.
- To use Zoom Registration: Registration scopes for meetings and webinars are included automatically with the public app authorization. For private apps, add the registrant scopes (
meeting:read:list_registrants,meeting:write:registrant,meeting:write:batch_registrants,meeting:update:registrant_status,meeting:delete:registrant, and the equivalent webinar scopes) when configuring your app scopes. - Video Quality Settings: For 720p and 1080p HD video streaming, ensure these settings are enabled and approved at both the account level and user level in your Zoom settings. Navigate to Settings, then Meeting, then In Meeting (Advanced) and enable HD video options.
- Chat Settings: Meeting and webinar chat functionality must be enabled at the account level. Go to Settings, then Meeting, then In Meeting (Basic) and verify that chat features are allowed for participants.
- All credentials for private integrations should be stored securely and never shared publicly.
- Add private integration credentials to SimuLive under Dashboard, then Integrations, then Zoom.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Navigate to Dashboard, then Integrations in your SimuLive account. Locate the Zoom section and click Connect Zoom.
You will be redirected to Zoom's secure authorization page. Review the requested permissions and click Allow to grant SimuLive access to create and manage your meetings and webinars.
To use Zoom Registration: Registration permissions for both meetings and webinars are included in the public app authorization. Accepting the requested permissions grants SimuLive the ability to add, update, remove, and sync registrants for your meetings and webinars automatically.
After authorization, you will be redirected back to SimuLive and your Zoom account will show as Active in the Integrations page. You can now create runbooks using your Zoom account.
