One Click Authorization (Recommended)
Connect your Google Drive instantly using SimuLive's verified public integration.. Accept the Meet permissions on the consent screen to also enable Google Meet as an event platform.
Important Notes
- One Click Authorization Available: SimuLive is approved by Google. Simply click Authorize in Dashboard, then Integrations to connect your Google Drive instantly.
- SimuLive uses the secure drive.file scope. We only access files uploaded through our platform and never access your entire Google Drive.
- To use Google Meet: Accept the Meet permissions (
meetings.space.created,meetings.space.readonly,meetings.space.settings) on the OAuth consent screen. These scopes are required for SimuLive to create and manage Google Meet spaces on your behalf. You can re-authorize at any time from Dashboard, then Integrations to grant Meet access. - For multiple Google accounts, you can create private Google Cloud projects. Follow the steps below for private integration setup.
- All credentials for private integrations should be stored securely and never shared publicly.
- Add private integration credentials to SimuLive under Dashboard, then Integrations, then Google Drive.
- Public integration is recommended for most users as it requires no configuration.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Navigate to Dashboard, then Integrations in your SimuLive account. Locate the Google Drive section and click Authorize.
You will be redirected to Google's secure OAuth consent screen. Review the requested permissions and click Allow to grant SimuLive access to files you upload through our platform.
SimuLive uses the drive.file scope, which means we can only access files created or uploaded through SimuLive. We never have access to your existing Google Drive files or folders.
To use Google Meet: The consent screen includes Google Meet permissions (meetings.space.created, meetings.space.readonly, meetings.space.settings). Accept these scopes to allow SimuLive to create and manage Google Meet spaces on your behalf. Without these permissions, Google Meet will not be available as an event platform. You can re-authorize at any time from Dashboard, then Integrations to add Meet access.
After authorization, you will be redirected back to SimuLive and your Google account will show as Active in the Integrations page. You can now upload content when creating runbooks, and create Google Meet events if the Meet scopes were accepted.
